Amelia graduated from the Australian National University (ANU) in 2018 with a combined Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and International Relations.
During her studies, Amelia worked as a paralegal for the Workplace Relations Team of the Department of Employment. She also undertook a research internship with Senator Peris, and assisted with projects such as speech writing, discrete qualitative research tasks, and a study on the legislative autonomy of the Northern Territory and euthanasia laws. She subsequently presented the research findings of the NT study at the ANU Student Research Conference. Amelia also interned at the ACT Human Rights Commission where she attended collaborative tribunal hearings for mental health orders, and undertook a vacationer program for the audit division of KPMG. Whilst at University, Amelia was also treasurer of the ANU Women’s Department and a volunteer at Legal Aid.
Amelia is a Graduate-at-Law completing the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She works across all of the Firm’s practice areas and has particular experience in working on sexual harassment, discrimination, adverse action and unfair dismissal cases.
