Christopher Nowland


Christopher completed a post-graduate Juris Doctor from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2016 and holds a Bachelor of Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Sydney.

During his legal studies he completed specialist electives in areas including employment law, privacy and surveillance law, and finance law.

In 2014, Christopher was awarded the Allens Linklaters Award for Commercial Law.

Prior to joining Harmers, Christopher interned at the Australian Human Rights Commission and volunteered extensively at the Inner City Legal Centre. In these roles, he gained hands on experience remedying discrimination and human rights violations in employment.

Christopher joined Harmers as a summer clerk in December 2015 and worked as a paralegal while he completed his studies at university. Christopher is currently a Solicitor and works across all of the firm’s practice areas for both corporate and individual clients.
