Julie graduated from Macquarie University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), First Class. On graduation Julie received the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Law and the Helen Sham Ho Award for the best student in the distance education program
Julie undertook her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University and completed her practical legal training at Marrickville Community Legal Centre and law firm Slater and Gordon.
Julie was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in July 2016 and is also on the High Court list of practitioners.
Julie also holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours), with her honours thesis in Industrial Relations, from the University of Sydney and has extensive experience in industrial relations having worked for a number of different trade unions as well as employers in the public and community sector. Julie is a Committee member and Vice-President of the Industrial Relations Society of NSW and volunteers with the Marrickville Community Legal Centre.
Julie works across all the firms practice areas and has a particular interest in general protections, discrimination and sexual harassment.
