Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards 2020

Harmers wins two awards: “Workplace Relations & Employment Team of the Year” and “Managing Partner of the Year – Michael Harmer”

Harmers is delighted to announce that the firm has won two awards at the 2020 Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards: “Workplace Relations and Employment Team of the Year” and “Managing Partner of the Year – Michael Harmer”.

The Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards are peer-reviewed and assessed by a highly regarded judging panel on a national level. The Awards are open to all law firms with a presence in Australia, regardless of size. This year there were 40 judges including the Executive Director of the College of Law, the CEO of Legal Aid in ACT, the Legal Services Commissioner of NSW, the Vice President of the Fair Work Commission and the CEO of the Victorian Bar. They determined Harmers as the winner in the “Workplace Relations and Employment Team of the Year” category and Michael Harmer in the “Managing Partner of the Year” category, based on specific criteria and the legal cases the firm has managed in 2019/2020.

Harmers would like to take this opportunity to thank our valued clients for your ongoing support. It is a great honour to receive this recognition from the Australian legal community and we feel very privileged to manage the complex, and often highly sensitive, matters for our clients.  These awards are also indicative of the quality and expertise of our lawyers and support staff.

Harmers would also like to thank our member firms from L&E Global  incorporating 1500+ lawyers across five continents encompassing North and South America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region, who collaborate as a single legal powerhouse for clients working on complex cross-border labour and employment projects.
