Stella Magoulias

GRADUATE-AT-LAW

Stella graduated from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2024 with a Juris Doctor (Distinction). She commenced working at Harmers Workplace Lawyers in 2023 as a paralegal, then a summer clerk, and is currently a Graduate-at-Law.

Stella is passionate about gender equality, particularly in the workplace, and her distinction research thesis explores how flexible working arrangements are instrumental in closing the gender pay gap. During her studies, Stella worked as a research assistant for the UTS law faculty, where she conducted research into parental leave entitlements across the OECD Member countries.

Awarded the Harmers Workplace Lawyers Prize in Employment Law for the 2022 academic year, Stella’s academic achievements were also recognised in the Law Faculty’s Dean’s Merit List for Academic Excellence in both 2021 and 2022.

Stella enjoys volunteering in her community. In 2023, she completed the Brennan Justice and Leadership Program at UTS, which emphasised leadership through service. As part of the program, Stella worked for the Environmental Defender’s Office as a student legal volunteer, where she conducted legal research and assisted in the preparation of submissions on development applications. Stella continues to volunteer her time to restore native habitats in the Greater Sydney area.

Stella currently works across all areas of the firm’s practice areas for both corporate and individual clients, with a particular interest in discrimination and sexual harassment matters.
