Liav graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2024 with a Bachelor of Laws (Distinction). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) from the University of New South Wales, majoring in Politics and International Relations.
Bringing years of experience as a paralegal at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers where she worked in Class Actions, Liav is passionate about assisting clients with their legal concerns and making a positive impact on their lives. She has also previously provided legal research and assistance to Magistrate Sharon Freund, Deputy State Coroner and Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Notre Dame.
Liav values collaboration, relationship building and teamwork highly, winning the Australian Defence Force Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award in 2018. During her time at the University of New South Wales, Liav was selected to partake in and has graduated from the Universitas 21 Global Citizenship Programme, holding a Global Citizenship & Common Purpose Leadership Certification. She has also served on the Executive Leadership Board of a not-for-profit organisation promoting youth wellbeing and education, managing both counsellors and students throughout her numerous years of involvement with the organisation.
