Alison Xie

GRADUATE-AT-LAW

Alison graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2024 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction), majoring in International Business. She joined Harmers Workplace Lawyers in 2023 as a summer clerk and is currently a Graduate-At-Law.

Alison developed a keen interest in employment law during her previous role as a Workplace Relations Consultant, where she assisted small to mid-size businesses with their employment disputes, workplace investigations, and HR practices. Through an in-house legal internship at a multinational company, she also gained an understanding of the intersection of employment law and business interests. Now, she draws from this background to assist both employees and employers to achieve their goals in the legal sphere. She appreciates that clients can come from many different backgrounds and strives to ensure that every person is treated with empathy and respect.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys cooking and listening to audiobooks (ideally, doing both at the same time).
