She believes strongly in the role of law to empower the voice of ordinary people and often draws from her STEM background to incorporate an analytical and pragmatic perspective into her approach to legal solutions. Her law honours thesis explored the possibility of a tobacco endgame to improve public health in Australia and received a High Distinction. Nina also previously interned at Sydney Health Law as a researcher to provide policy recommendations to the Public Health Division of the Pacific Community regarding cross-border alcohol advertising in Pacific Island Countries and Territories.

During her studies, Nina volunteered for the SULS’ Refugee Language Tutoring Program. In 2022 and 2023, she was also a co-chair of SULS’ Youth Justice Mentoring Scheme, focussing on community engagement with youths in custody.

Nina currently works across all areas of the firm’s practice areas for both corporate and individual clients, with a particular interest in industrial relations and sexual harassment matters.
