Sandra Marks


Sandra holds honours degrees in both Arts and Law from the University of Sydney and commenced her career at a major Sydney law firm practising in commercial litigation.

Since 1992, she has specialised in industrial relations and employment law. This includes in-house experience with one of Australia’s largest publicly listed corporations.

While Sandra advises in all areas of the firm’s practice, she focuses on employment and associated litigation and is particularly experienced in large scale  disputes. This includes unfair dismissal, breach of contract, trade practices, unfair contract, restraint of trade claims, anti-discrimination complaints and WHS prosecutions.

She also assists clients with practical legal compliance via legal risk auditing and the development and presentation of individualised training packages.

Sandra is a “Recommended Lawyer” in the Labour and Employment Law category of the 2020 Asia Pacific Legal 500 and a “Key Lawyer” in the Labour and Employment Law category of the 2021 Asia Pacific Legal 500.
