Disha Mehta

SOLICITOR

Before she moved to Australia, Disha graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce and qualified to practise law in India in 2017. She then completed the Juris Doctor program at UNSW and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2021. She is also listed in the High Court Register of Practitioners.

During her studies at UNSW, Disha worked as a paralegal for a boutique family law firm. After graduating, she worked across widespread practice areas, including employment law, trusts & estate law and business law, advising both corporate and individual clients. She also volunteered at the Kingsford Legal Centre, providing specialist employment advice.

Through her experience, Disha has developed a unique approach to providing legal services, combining practicality with empathy. Her diverse background also helps her serve clients with a global perspective.

At Harmers, Disha works across all of the firm’s practice areas and has a particular interest in workplace relations, general protections and anti-discrimination law.

In her spare time, you will find Disha making her way to her next brunch spot or enjoying Sydney’s local markets.
