Suzannah O’Toole

SOLICITOR

Suzannah obtained a Juris Doctor (Distinction) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Newcastle in 2021. During her studies, Suzannah placed first in course in Torts, Contracts, Civil Dispute Resolution, Legal System and Method I and Indigenous Peoples and the Law and received the Juris Doctor Scholarship. She was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in August 2021.

Suzannah also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) in Politics, International Relations and History from the University of Newcastle in 2016, during which time she was twice placed on the Faculty of Education and Arts Commendation List for academic performance.

Prior to joining Harmers, Suzannah gained experience as a solicitor and paralegal at a boutique commercial law firm, working on matters spanning workplace, commercial, taxation and property law. In addition, Suzannah has worked as a sessional academic and teaching assistant at the University of Newcastle Law School.

She has been involved in numerous conciliations at the Fair Work Commission for unfair dismissal cases and has experience representing individuals, SMEs, corporations and not-for-profit organisations in workplace matters. She is passionate about dispute resolution and has a particular interest in employment contracts, unfair dismissal and workplace relations.
